It is for everyone, regardless of how you learn, speak, read, or move.

You might:

You can do this on your own or with someone you trust.

Sometimes, feelings are big.
If any part feels too hard, you can:
✅ Stop and breathe
✅ Go to a calm place
✅ Ask someone you trust to help you

Remember:
✨ All your feelings are okay.
✨ You are not alone.
✨ You are becoming — in your own way, in your own time.

 

Section 1: What Are Feelings?

Feelings live inside us.

They can be big or small.
They can feel nice... or not nice.
They can change — sometimes very quickly.

 

✨ Feelings live in our body.
✨ They are messages — telling us what is happening inside.
✨ All feelings are okay.
✨ You are allowed to feel whatever you feel.

 

🦋 Feelings come and go

Feelings do not stay forever.
They can come and go — like butterflies.

Some feelings stay for a long time.
Some stay for a short time.

It is okay — all feelings change.

You can learn to notice:
✅ How your body feels
✅ How your breath feels
✅ What your feelings are telling you

 

🌿 You can show your feelings

You can:
✅ Point to feelings
✅ Draw them
✅ Move your body
✅ Use colours

Feelings are not just in your head.

Feelings live in your body.
Your body gives you clues about how you feel.

You can notice:

✅ How your head feels
✅ How your hands feel
✅ How your breath feels
✅ How your body moves

Sometimes feelings feel BIG.

When that happens, there are things that can help you feel calm again.

Section 5: Butterfly Breaths with Luma

Sometimes when feelings are very big, or when you feel worried or upset...
Breathing slowly can help.

✨ Breathing helps your body feel calm.
✨ It gives your feelings space to move.
✨ You can try butterfly breaths anytime.

 

🌿 Wings in and out

1️⃣ Sit or stand.
2️⃣ Stretch your arms out like butterfly wings.
3️⃣ Breathe in — wings come in.
4️⃣ Breathe out — wings open wide.
5️⃣ Do this 3 times — slowly.

 

🌸 Hands on heart

1️⃣ Put your hands gently on your heart (or tummy).
2️⃣ Breathe in slowly...
3️⃣ Breathe out slowly...
4️⃣ Feel your hands move with your breath.
5️⃣ Do this 3 times.

 

🌿 Three small butterfly breaths

1️⃣ Sit quietly.
2️⃣ Take a small breath in...
3️⃣ Let it out slowly...
4️⃣ Do this 3 times.

✨ You can do this anytime — no one even needs to know.
